Aim of the course:
This course translates the pedagogical principles developed earlier in the MOOC into practical strategies for designing and implementing XR-based learning experiences in VET.
It supports teachers and trainers in applying instructional design principles to XR, addressing feasibility, accessibility, safety and ethical considerations. The focus is on ensuring that immersive learning activities remain learner-centred, inclusive and aligned with vocational learning outcomes.
Participants will develop practical insights into how XR learning experiences can be structured, implemented and adapted to diverse VET contexts.
Main ideas:
- Understanding how XR transforms teaching and learning in VET.
- Exploring methods to create immersive and practical learning experiences.
- Connecting XR applications to sustainability and building sector training.
