Aim of the course:
This course completes the MOOC by focusing on the evaluation, improvement and sustainability of XR practices in vocational education and training.
It introduces criteria, methods and tools for assessing learning outcomes, safety, accessibility and institutional impact of XR-based initiatives. The course supports evidence-based decision-making, helping training providers move beyond isolated pilots towards scalable and sustainable implementation.
Participants will reflect on how evaluation results can inform pedagogical improvement, institutional strategy and long-term XR integration in VET.
Main ideas:
- Defining evaluation questions and criteria (pedagogical value, usability, inclusion, safety, sustainability, cost–benefit).
- Exploring tools and methods to gather evidence (surveys, interviews, observation grids, learning analytics, performance tasks).
- Using evaluation findings to improve design, inform institutional strategy and support the green and digital transitions in VET.
