Aim of the course:
This course builds on the conceptual and pedagogical foundations of the MOOC by illustrating how XR is implemented in real VET contexts through selected European case studies.
It presents concrete examples of XR use across different sectors, highlighting pedagogical approaches, organisational conditions and implementation choices that support effective learning. Rather than focusing on technology alone, the course emphasises how XR is embedded within authentic vocational practices.
By analysing these cases, participants will identify transferable principles and lessons that can inform their own XR initiatives in VET.
Main ideas:
- Analysing concrete European XR case studies across craft, tourism and dual VET contexts.
- Understanding how XR supports skills development, engagement and authentic learning experiences in different sectors.
- Identifying common pedagogical patterns and design principles behind successful XR implementation.
- Reflecting on organisational, methodological and technical requirements for integrating XR in VET centres and companies.
- Drawing transferable lessons to guide future XR initiatives in Habitat- and construction-related training.
